Fall is on the menu at Oaks in Columbus
The fall menu is back at Oaks, and it is only here while the season is. If you have stopped by Homestead Plaza lately, you have probably smelled it: maple, cinnamon, and banana bread in the case.
This year's fall lattes start with the Flannel Jacket Latte, a maple brown sugar latte that lives up to the name. The Honeycomb Latte brings honey, cinnamon and vanilla. The Banana Bread Latte starts from our banana bread syrup with cinnamon and brown sugar. And yes, there is a Pumpkin Spice Latte, because some classics earn their spot. Fall lattes start at $5.50.
Two smoothies joined for the season. The Nutty Apple Smoothie blends peanut butter, banana, apple and almond slivers with protein ($9). The Caramel Apple Smoothie is almond milk and fresh Granny Smith apple finished with caramel ($8).
On the food side, the Saucy Oak Panini stacks grilled chicken and fresh mozzarella on sourdough with your choice of garlic or cilantro aioli ($12). The Autumn Crunch Salad tops greens with grilled chicken, crisp apples, dried cranberries, feta and pecans in vinaigrette ($13). For something smaller, the banana bread comes thick-sliced and made in house ($4.50), and the Overnight Oats mix rolled oats, honey, chia seeds, banana, cinnamon and vanilla protein for 10 grams of protein ($4.50).
Everything above is seasonal, so when the season turns, these go with it. You can order ahead for pickup, or come find us at Suite L in Homestead Plaza, 23203 Columbus Road.
